Drakensang

There always seems to be another Dark Eye video game adaptation I hadn't heard of before, although in Drakensang's case it's because I had mixed it up with Drakengard, thinking they're the same game. And as I don't play Japanese games, I had ignored it until I happened to watch some video featuring less-known roleplaying games and I realized my error. Drakensang seems to have carried 'The Dark Eye' as its subtitle (the other way around in German: 'Das Schwarze Auge: Drakensang') but now the game is being sold without it.

Demonicon

If I recall right, Demonicon was a pure impulse purchase for me: I saw a deep discount and the logo of the German tabletop RPG, The Dark Eye, which I had encountered before in the Blackguards games. And I suppose my backlog wasn't as lengthy as it is currently. Demonicon didn't turn out to be the worst experience ever but there's just not much of a reason to play it over something else.

Blackguards 2

Years ago in my Blackguards post I said wasn't going to buy Blackguards 2 but then it was on sale on GOG for next to nothing at the end of last year and I thought I might as well buy it after all. Although, had I waited just one more day, I could've played it on Origin Access for completely free.

Blackguards

Blackguards is one of the many Unity-using RPGs that have come out in the past two or so years. I would dare to say it is not one of the best ones, although it was successful enough for Daedalic Entertainment to put out a sequel already. I will not be buying that one, though. Not with the experience I got from this one.
