Shadow Warrior 3

While waiting for Atomic Heart to gets its inevitable first post-release patches before starting it, I played through a couple of other titles on the PC game pass. The first one was Shadow Warrior 3, a first person shooter which was released a year ago. It's the third game in the series ever since it was rebooted in 2013, Flying Wild Hog as the developer. (The original Shadow Warrior was released in 1997.)

Weird West

In my Prey: Mooncrash post I speculated there was more than family reasons behind Arkane Studios' founder and president Raphaƫl Colantonio quitting in 2017. Observation

Microsoft is currently offering three months of Game Pass Ultimate for 1€. Unfortunately I subscribed a day before that deal went live so I only got the previous deal which was one month for the price. But looking at how I've already beaten three games of the five (or six if/when EA Play is included in the service on the 15th) I wanted to play in less than two weeks, one month will be just plenty.

The Talos Principle

The Talos Principle was my sole purchase from Steam's 2018 winter sale. An impulse purchase too, the decision assisted by a deep discount and overall overwhelmingly positive user reviews. It is a puzzle game comparable to Portal although The Turing Test with its philosophical and ethical aspects might be closer.
